SageSure, a leader in catastrophe-exposed property insurance, is seeking a highly organized, tech-savvy, detail oriente d Legal Operations Specialist . T his role will be responsible for the development and oversight of the Legal Department’s processes and procedures while supporting various operational projects. The ideal candidate must be agile, with demonstrated ability to pivot and manage workload properly and timely and be able to work as part of a close-knit team as well as independently.

What you’d be doing:

  • Manage the contract database platform for the Legal Department, including oversight of the process for execution of contracts and maintenance of contract repository .
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to move contracts to finalization including , but not limited to , preparing a summary analysis of agreement deal terms, collecting feedback on contracts, managing versions, and ensuring in line with approval and signature authorities .
  • Own the management of the contract l ifecycle process , including contract tracking, renewal, and expiration .
  • Coordinate and project manage the legal department’s projects , ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines .
  • Provide certain administrative support to legal team , with respect to the coordination including meetings, preparation of agendas, handling and drafting of correspondence , and serving as the DocuSign point of contact for contract signatures and/or legal documents .
  • Any other duties needed to help drive our purpose and fulfill our values.

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Bachelor’s degree or associate degree with relevant experience
  • 2- 3 years of experience in a corporate/transactional law firm department or in-house corporate legal / contracting role ( i.e., paralegal, contract management , or similar) .
  • Excellence in project management processes and software/tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail and strong proofreading skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in handling sensitive information .
  • Strong communication (oral and written), interpersonal skills to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders .
  • Highly proficient with MS Word, MS PowerPoint (or other presentation tools) , MS Excel, Visio , and with contract management software and tools.

Highly preferred candidates also have:

  • Certification in paralegal studies or demonstrated paralegal /legal assistant experience.
  • Insurance or financial services experience preferred.
  • Experience working with Smartsheet and many other operational tools, demonstrating technical agility and the ability to implement and manage such tools .
