LHH is seeking an experienced legal secretary/assistant interested in a full-time job opportunity in Cleveland, OH. We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented professional for this position. you will be responsible for drafting, formatting, and proofreading legal documents and correspondence; filing and e-filing for state and federal courts; calendaring and deadline management; research and fact finding; and other tasks as assigned. The ideal candidate will have experience in criminal and civil matters in state and federal court. 


Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for drafting, formatting, and proofreading legal documents and correspondence
  • Filing and e-filing for state and federal courts
  • Calendaring and deadline management
  • Research and fact finding
  • Other tasks as assigned



  • 3+ years of solid legal assistant experience, experience in criminal and civil matters in state and federal court is mandatory.
  • Strong computer proficiency, especially with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • A thorough understanding of litigation procedures and the discovery process
  • Solid organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail
  • Superb communication and interpersonal skills with a helpful, proactive mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

This posting is a representative sample of the types of roles we typically place with our clients. Depending on the specific client, location, and role, the salary range is estimated to be $50,000 to $70,000 and benefits may include health insurance, 401k as well as other potential benefits. 

Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
