Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a General Counsel. The General Counsel will be responsible for providing a wide range of legal advice in regards to mergers & acquisitions and managing legal issues related to labor, SEC oversight financings, data privacy, and corporate governance, and much more. The role involves ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, conducting legal research, drafting and reviewing contracts, and providing guidance on strategic decisions. The General Counsel will also collaborate with internal stakeholders and external legal counsel as needed.
As your role evolves you will be more involved with deal-making, negotiation, and more.
Qualifications
- Experience in managing legal issues related to mergers & acquisitions, Private Equity financing, labor and employment law, data privacy, and corporate governance
- Ability to provide strategic legal advice and guidance
- Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Experience in a leadership role
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) or equivalent degree from an accredited law school
