Contract Manager - Level 5
We are _Lockheed Martin
_ Serve as a Contracts Manager for F-35 Sustainment Contracts team. The selected candidate will be responsible for a team of contracts management personnel as well as for performing all facets of contracting, proposal development, negotiation, and contract administration. Ensures contracts are negotiated and administered in accordance with FAR/DFAR or other terms as applicable, statutory laws and Lockheed Martin policies and procedures. Provides risk assessments and offers alternate approaches to mitigate risks, including contract language.
Maintains record of negotiations, accurate and complete files of contractual documents and correspondence. Prepares and presents briefings to management and customers. Understands and implements Lockheed Martin policies and procedures. Develops and applies advanced concepts, techniques, standards and solutions to unusually complex problems. Provide contractual guidance to junior employees. Overtime and travel may be required to support program needs. Establishes effective working relationships with internal and external customers. Ability to demonstrate computer competency and the ability to work in various systems to update, maintain or extract contract data.
