About the role

We are seeking an experienced Labor Compliance Specialist to play a key role in our Labor & Scheduling platform. As a Labor Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that our software platform gives our customers the tools they need to comply with all relevant labor laws, regulations, and standards. The ideal candidate will be a customer-focused, results-driven, and detail-oriented professional with expertise in United States Labor Law Compliance. This role is critical to ensuring Crunchtime continues as a leader in the restaurant labor and scheduling space.

What you'll do as a Labor Compliance Specialist

  • Stay abreast of federal, state, and local labor laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Maintain & prioritize the backlog for labor statutes and legislation.
  • Draft product requirement documents for features and enhancements.
  • Participate in discovery and solutioning, including logic and workflow sign-off.
  • Review release notes and in-app help documentation.
  • Represent labor compliance on customer and sales calls.
  • Communicate with legal counsel and regulatory agencies when needed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including product marketing, sales, and training to support the promotion of our labor compliance capabilities.

What we're looking for

  • 2 years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Legal Studies, or related field.
  • Experience working in labor compliance, HR, or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.

Nice to haves

  • International labor regulations experience is a plus.
  • Experience working in restaurants is a plus.
