Overview

Blue Yonder is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Ethics and Compliance Manager to join our collaborative and high-functioning Legal team. The Ethics and Compliance Manager will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of the company's ethics and compliance program, ensuring adherence to legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.

What You’ll Do

Policy Management:

 

  • Develop and execute Blue Yonder’s policy governance aligning with business goals, regulatory guidance, and legal requirements.
  • Administer PolicyHub, Blue Yonder’s policy management tool, leveraging technology to enhance policy process flows, efficiency, and innovation.
  • Draft compliance policies and procedures. Collaborate with Policy Owners and internal stakeholders to define and improve processes, and update policies and procedures as needed.
  • Ensure policies are translated when applicable and maintain readability and clarity across the organization.
  • Perform benchmarking research to inform the policy management strategy.

Trade And Export

 

  • Monitor Export and Trade Compliance Regulations relevant to Blue Yonder and work cooperatively and proactively with the various functions to ensure compliance
  • Contribute to the implementation of the global strategy for Sanction & Export Controls
  • Collaborate with Product Development to ensure ECCN numbers for all exported products
  • Maintain and enhance policies and procedures to ensure export control measures with respect to deemed (re)export, technology transfer or access, software delivery, etc.

EthicsLine Management

 

  • Manage the EthicsLine to facilitate the reporting of actual or perceived violations of Blue Yonder’s Code of Conduct or legal compliance.
  • Administer the Company’s EthicsLine technology platform to ensure all ethics and compliance matters are properly and timely opened, tracked, and closed.
  • Lead/support Code of Conduct investigations as appropriate and track remediation efforts to ensure completion.
  • Assist with the development and continuous improvement of investigator training and investigation processes.

Anti Bribery / Anti-Corruption

 

  • Assist in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and training materials to prevent bribery and corruption globally, including work on third-party due diligence processes, procedures, and controls to mitigate risks.
  • Partner with key stakeholders, to conduct compliance and fraud risk assessments designed to identify and mitigate potential legal, ethics, compliance, and fraud risks.

Additional Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and manage compliance-related reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist with the design, maintenance, and delivery of ethics & compliance training materials.
  • Contribute to Blue Yonder’s compliance communication strategy to ensure Associates are aware of their compliance responsibilities and build the Blue Yonder compliance brand.
  • Assist with monitoring business operations and company policies for possible risks and liabilities and research legal requirements for new initiatives.
  • Successfully drive all phases of assigned projects and ensure all objectives are met.
  • Additional ethics and compliance projects and initiatives as assigned.

What We Are Looking For

 

  • Bachelor's degree required; JD or CCEP (or equivalent certification) preferred.
  • Fluency in English
  • A minimum of 5 years of corporate ethics and compliance experience in a multinational public company, or 3+ years with a JD or CCEP.
  • Experience with international trade regulations and US export licensing and controls, specifically: BIS Regulations including Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and Export Control Classification (ECCN); Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a high degree of emotional and cultural intelligence, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Strong writing, analytical, editing, proofreading, and research skills.
  • Excellent problem solver and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal direction.
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI.

The salary range for this position is: USD $105,261.54 - $132,738.45

The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
