Each principle has a defined set of behaviors which help guide the 7-Eleven team to Serve Customers and Support Stores. ▶ About This Opportunity JOB SUMMARY : The Franchise and Corporate Operations Paralegal is an integral part of 7-Eleven’s Legal group in Dallas, primarily supporting the 7-Eleven Operations Legal team as it supports franchised and corporate stores in the 7-Eleven family of convenience stores. This paralegal position will interface frequently and directly with corporate employees in the Store Support Center and the field throughout the United States as they support 7-Eleven franchise owners and corporate store managers and their stores. This paralegal position will review and draft various commonly issued notices, contracts, amendments, and other documentation to assist in-house legal counsel as they advise field employees, and it will assist field employees directly as they consult with and support franchise owners. This is a high-volume paralegal position with strong process level and business-oriented integration, and it requires frequent coordination with multiple 7-Eleven departments and divisions to assure proper responses and handling of the issues impacted by the tasks at hand. This position is expected to exercise strong, mature independent judgment and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to prioritize tasks based on impact to the organization. Reviews and responds to certain corporate and franchised store-level legal violations issued by local, state, and federal governmental agencies; <span style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, Calibri_EmbeddedFont, Calibri_MSFontService, sans-serif;" data-ccp-props="{"134233279":true,"335559737":787,"335559739":240,"469777462":[820],"469777927":[0],"469777928":[1]}">
Consults directly with all levels of Franchise Operations personnel in reviewing requests legal documentation of store operations deficiencies and opportunities, identifying both common and creative potential solutions; and <span style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, Calibri_EmbeddedFont, Calibri_MSFontService, sans-serif;" data-ccp-props="{"134233279":true,"335559737":787,"335559739":240,"469777462":[820],"469777927":[0],"469777928":[1]}">

E DUCATION: Bachelors/4-year-degree
YEA RS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 3+ years
YEA RS OF MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE: NA
CE RTIFICATIONS / LICENSES: Paralegal certificate strongly preferred

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Strong written communication skills in English.
Strong organizational skills to facilitate ever-changing workload prioritization and deadline management.
Strong grasp of using forms to draft situation-specific contracts, amendments, notices, and similar documentation;
