The Associate Corporate Counsel is responsible for managing various legal projects and providing crucial legal guidance to ensure the achievement of company goals.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive legal advice across a spectrum of issues to facilitate informed decision-making
  • Ensure legal objectives are met while staying abreast of legislative changes impacting our business and its subsidiaries
  • Handle First-Party insurance litigation cases and oversee related legal proceedings
  • Conduct in-depth legal research, draft legal memoranda, and deliver recommendations to management
  • Review, draft, and negotiate a variety of contracts and legal documents with meticulous attention to detail
  • Ensure contractual terms align with regulatory requirements and corporate policies
  • Uphold corporate governance principles and practices to maintain compliance

Job Requirements

  • Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school and active bar license (any U.S. state); State of Florida Bar ideal
  • 2+ years of post-law school experience with contract review and drafting, preferably in a law firm setting
  • Strong understanding of corporate law, international law, and contract principles
  • Excellent multitasking, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational abilities, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment

Compensation: Salary + Performance-Based Bonus, Comprehensive Benefits Package. Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills and may vary from the range listed above.
