Cohesity is seeking a Legal Operations Billing Specialist to join our dynamic and growing Legal Operations team who will report into our Sr. Director, Legal

Operations. Our team is at the forefront of innovation and delivery for our corporate legal department clients. We serve both as advisors and as experienced, scalable hands-on resources, collaborating with our clients to contain risk and optimize processes through people, process & technology. We are seeking someone who has a wide range of skills and is financially minded to help manage the holistic legal budget, eBilling platform, and act as a interface to our lawyers for new matter creation and budgets. The individual will also be responsible for all PO creation for legal, inclusive of technology and professional services. This individual will also be an interface our finance and accounting.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

 Maintenance of Master Data of the Legal E-Billing System

 PO and Invoice Management for the Legal Department

 Manage, enhance and enforce our outside counsel billing guidelines

 Assist with creation of annual operating plan

 Assist with all contract renewals and negotiations

 Coupa Purchase Requisitions for the Legal Department

 Manage invoice review & approval via Brightflag

 Support with the monthly and year-end accruals process

 Annual review of timekeeper rates from outside counsel with our legal

leaders

 Act as a point of contact for outside counsel on billing related inquiries

 Identify process improvement opportunities

 Internal User Support for the end-to-end Legal Billing Process

 Prepare materials monthly for Legal Leaders Billing meeting

 Support communications and training initiatives related to Billing for the

Legal department

 Maintenance of Master Data of the Legal E-Billing System

 Manage and maintain budgets in the Legal e-billing system

 Ad-hoc requests with further operational tasks

 Support with process and digital improvement projects and

implementations

 Other duties as assigned

Experience, Education And Other Qualifications

 5+ years experience in an operational financial role

 2+ years experience related to legal billing (in-house or law firm)

 Four- year degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Information Science,

Data & Analytics, and the like, or equivalent combination of experience and

education

 Fluency in English

 Excellent time management skills with high proactive behavior to take

initiatives

 Ability to work independently, to take informed decisions and determine

priorities in a fast paced and fast-changing environment

 Attention to detail and strong customer orientation

 Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

 Analytical acumen with an eye for reporting

 An understanding of Legal Operations

 Experience with managing a large amount of Purchase Orders and Invoices

 Knowledge of e-billing systems

 Good understanding of P2P processes and systems

 Understanding of Patent and annuity budgeting
