Job Details: Role: Cloud Risk and Compliance Manager Location: Jersey City, NJ/ Irving, TX

Job Overview: We are seeking a Cloud Risk and Compliance Manager to lead our cloud governance, risk assessment, and compliance efforts. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in identifying and assessing risks, negotiating cloud-friendly policy changes, and ensuring compliance with regulations and policies in a cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Risk Identification and Assessment: Identify risk, assess residual risk, and coordinate Corrective Action Plan (CAP) completion through collaboration with information security and engineering teams.

Policy Negotiation and Application: Negotiate with IA (Internal Audit) and ORM (Operational Risk Management) to influence cloud-friendly policy changes. Advise engineers on the application of policy across multiple concurrent technology domains such as compute, container, DB, middleware, etc.

Regulatory Compliance and Advocacy: Research origins of policy in regulations collaboratively with ICRM (Independent Compliance Risk Management). Engage with and lead advocacy efforts with regulators in Asia and EMEA on Public Cloud in partnership with Government Affairs and Regulatory Engagement teams.

Cloud Service Governance and Maintenance: Design processes for building and maintaining services in Public Cloud with a focus on control and compliance. Maintain continual assessment of Management Controls Assessment (MCA) Efficacy for Public Cloud.

Exception Monitoring and Data Analysis: Monitor exceptions to dispute policy and identify common root causes of exceptions. Leverage data to examine impacts on Customer Experience and Regulatory breaks.

Risk Assessment and Compliance: Appropriately assess risk and demonstrate consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguard its clients, and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations. Adhering to Policy and applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices. Escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.

Influence Application Teams: Influence Application Teams on best practices for MCA in the cloud environment.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of experience in risk management, compliance, or cloud governance, with a focus on cloud technologies and regulations. Strong understanding of cloud governance, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance in a multi-cloud environment. Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders and regulators.
