Leading software-as-a-service (SaaS) company with critical supply chain management and procurement solutions for multi-national commercial and public sector clients seeks a dynamic Technology & Alliances Counsel . This role, reporting to the General Counsel, is an excellent opportunity for an experienced attorney to help manage global technology and commercial collaborations and related compliance in a dynamic growth environment.

Principal Responsibilities

Principal Responsibilities

  • Establishing and managing a range of complex global technology and professional services alliances and vendor agreements, including reseller/OEM, embedded technology, referral, and subcontracting.
  • Actively supporting technology and services alliance teams in negotiations, program design and strategy.
  • Managing compliance and risk management initiatives for a global technology company, including developing and updating internal policies and service terms and supporting audits and information security.
  • Leading Legal team support of product and engineering teams on software licensing, AI and other technology topics.
  • Leading and managing global process improvements with regular cross-functional collaborations.
  • Training cross-functional teams on commercial and compliance requirements for global collaborations, data use and technology.
  • Supporting M&A due diligence and execution.

Position Requirements

What You'll Bring:

  • At least 10 years of progressive experience at an international law firm and/or global IT company, preferably in the software/SaaS sector
  • Experience supporting sales and alliances teams, including drafting and negotiating a variety of SaaS, professional services and technology agreements with international counterparties
  • Experience with global compliance regimes and aligning contractual relationships with evolving requirements
  • Strong understanding of IT, SaaS, and software licensing preferred, as well as the implications of AI
  • A team player who embraces collaboration with cross-functional teams in a diverse global business
  • Excellent oral and written communication, legal drafting and negotiating skills
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and an ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects
  • Strong ability to flourish in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented organization
  • Highly practical and business-oriented, while thoughtfully managing legal and compliance risk
  • Unquestionable ethics and honesty
