The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Contract Management Specialist to join the Executive Transport and Surveillance Program in Oklahoma City, OK .

We are looking for a candidate that has contracting experience. The selected candidate will be directly engaging the internal and external customers, as well as Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) on a regular basis. This team supports the Executive Transport and Surveillance program doing upgrades, modifications, and sustainment, both domestically and internationally, internally and externally. We are looking for a candidate who can step into this assignment and work it with minimal ramp up time to support high profile programs. This opportunity will include the team lead assignment as well as a desk assignment.

Position Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead negotiation with the DCMA/Boeing internal functions to ensure disposition of canceling funds
  • Validate contracts in work to ensure contract compliance with contractual obligations (deliveries and cost recons) have been completed
  • Create contracts guidance canceling funds support for the program/business management teams
  • Understand cost reconciliations, accounts receivable billing process and internal/external regulations
  • Partner with the local DCMA to develop the cancelling funds Burndown strategies and achievement of goals
  • Communicate de-obligation recommendations to DCMA and modification execution
  • Handle canceling funds management (especially financial reconciliations)
  • Mentor junior members of the contracts team

This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future. This position requires at least 3 days onsite in Oklahoma City, OK each week.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R.

  • 120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

 

  • 5+ years of experience building, developing and maintaining customer relationships
  • 5+ years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts
  • 5+ years of experience in business related function (including but not limited to: Finance, Contracts, Estimating, Procurement Financial Analysis, Business Operations, Supplier Management, Marketing & Sales)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • 5+ years of experience leading or managing proposal development and negotiating government contracts
  • 5+ years of experience with proposal management, strategies development and/or contract negotiations
  • 5+ years of experience using analytical, collaboration, communication and organizational skills

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range: $93,500 - $126,500
