What You Get To Do

  • Become a liaison between OppFi’s IT department and the teams that perform Sarbanes-Oxley ITGC testing to plan and coordinate IT audit activities.
  • Become a liaison between OppFi’s IT department and the teams that perform ITGC audits to plan and coordinate IT audit activities.
  • Establish processes for evidence collection and review by OppFi teams and ensure their completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and consult them on the best way to optimize internal IT processes addressing ITGC requirements.
  • Work with IT teams to coordinate management response submissions and ensure corrective actions are performed within the agreed-upon timeline.
  • Ensure external audit firms, management, control owners, and all stakeholders are kept informed of progress/issues on a timely basis throughout the audit.
  • Assist in the preparation of summaries/ recaps of ITGC audit activities for periodic reporting and presentations to the Company’s Audit Committee when needed.
  • Partner with the Security Governance team to improve the current company-wide User Access Review process and develop measures to ensure coverage remains when system owner changes.
  • Provide assistance to the external auditors and regulatory examiners, as necessary.
  • Work on other projects and requests as necessary.
  • Stay up to date with evolving industry and regulatory changes impacting the business.

What You Will Bring To The Team

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering or IT risk management and 4 years of management experience; must be comfortable with hands-on tasks as needed
  • Ability to write queries in SQL or other languages adopted by the Company
  • Understanding of microservice architecture
  • Experience with cloud providers such as AWS
  • Problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and time management skills during the performance of the audit.
  • Knowledge of popular agile software development methods
  • Experience overseeing apprenticeship and intern programs, and experience improving diversity and inclusion on teams and the organization as a whole preferred
  • Lending industry experience, preferred

Reports to: Sr. Manager of Security Governance

Total Rewards And Benefits

The minimum salary for this role is $102,400. The total compensation package includes eligibility for performance-based bonuses and a one-time equity grant based on level.

The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by a myriad of factors including, but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, and other relevant business considerations.
