Position Overview: Join a well-established hedge fund in New York City as a Legal and Compliance Analyst. This is an entry-level position with opportunities for growth within the company.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain legal and compliance records and documentation
• Assist in administering the firm's compliance program
• Conduct periodic compliance testing and oversight
• Organize compliance-related committee meetings
• Support ongoing diligence of third-party vendors
• Interface with internal operations teams and external service providers on legal and compliance matters
• Assist with the compliance training program for employees
• Monitor developments in compliance and assist in new compliance initiatives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with strong academic credentials
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in compliance, paralegal work, or compliance consulting in the financial services industry
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities
• Highly detail-oriented and organized, with exceptional follow-up skills
• Dedicated, mature, and diligent professional
