Position Summary...

What you'll do...

  • Work with the Testing and Monitoring Team to identify and document risks and controls within the financial services products and services offered by Walmart, specifically within the applicable Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) laws, rules, and regulations and other consumer financial protection regulations.
  • Additionally, test the operational effectiveness of the controls, identifying issues were appropriate, and helping the Team relay the results of the testing to the control and process owners.
  • Analyze processes and identify possible gaps which could lead to regulatory risk if not addressed.
  • Research the AML and BSA laws, rules, and regulations to determine the applicability to the financial services products to ensure the Team reviews the appropriate processes following the risk-based testing plan.
  • Perform validation of outstanding issues as assigned, documenting the remediation of identified gaps and risks.
  • Complete assignments within the timeframe given accurately and following the established documentation standards.
  • Communicate effectively with the Team and with other associates in the financial services area.
  • Provide assistance as requested to external examiners.
  • Ensure assigned training is completed in a timely manner and actively seeking ways to increase knowledge in the financial services compliance area.
  • Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans, using the Open Door Policy, and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00-$130,000.00

Additional Compensation Includes Annual Or Quarterly Performance Bonuses.
