Description

Applied Underwriters, Inc., a global risk services company, is seeking to hire an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney or Counsel. In this role, you will use your strong communication, investigation, and negotiation skills to successfully manage a diverse caseload of commercial general liability claims. This person must appreciate the sensitive nature of complex, litigated liability claims and have extensive knowledge on policy interpretation and negligence standards.

Requirements

  • JD degree
  • At least two years experience working in an insurance defense capacity. Personal injury attorneys encouraged to apply.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in the use of software programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
