Job Summary:

BNY is seeking a Strategic Project Manager – Pricing & Governance to join our team in Lake Mary, FL . This role plays a critical part in developing and executing the governance framework for Treasury Services, with a strong focus on project planning, process improvement, and strategic initiative management.

Ideal candidates will bring proven experience managing complex projects across financial services environments, along with deep understanding of governance frameworks, pricing controls, and operational workflows. You will partner with cross-functional teams to drive impactful business outcomes and ensure consistent delivery of governance best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead governance-related project planning and execution, ensuring projects and sub-projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in accordance with established guidelines.
• Collect and define pricing governance requirements, translating them into operational frameworks, documentation, and process improvements.
• Document project takeaways and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve open issues or process gaps.
• Manage all aspects of pricing governance project lifecycles, including risk tracking, scope and schedule management, project reporting, and stakeholder communication.
• Serve as the liaison between product/business lines and governance functions, ensuring alignment and transparency.
• Identify opportunities to automate and streamline governance workflows, including approval processes and audit trails.
• Develop detailed project plans and schedules, setting clear goals, identifying risks, and allocating resources appropriately.
• Provide regular project updates, highlighting progress and addressing significant deviations from expected outcomes.
• Maintain close communication with internal clients, aligning project execution with their expectations and strategic priorities.
• Create and deliver training materials as needed; support onboarding and enablement of end users with system/process changes.
• Act as a key contact for functional-level issue resolution, documentation, and business engagement.

Required Qualifications:

• 4–6 years of experience in governance, project management, or a related function.
• Experience overseeing end to end Pricing Governance project management activities such as project reporting, project planning, issue / risk identification and tracking, scope management, estimation, client management, and relationship management.
• Demonstrated success leading cross-functional projects of medium complexity involving multiple systems and stakeholders.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working in financial services.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (report mapping) and PowerPoint (slide creation).
• Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with Treasury Services products and solutions (e.g., cash management, liquidity, trade finance, billing, electronic banking).
