Position: Legal Analyst

Type: Contract

Compensation: $80–$100/hour

Location: Remote

Duration: 2–3 months

Commitment: 10–20 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

  • Review and evaluate AI-generated legal arguments and documentation to ensure alignment with U.S. legal standards.
  • Draft questions, prompts, and scoring rubrics related to legal analysis.
  • Provide subject-matter feedback to support iterative model training.
  • Collaborate with AI research teams to improve legal reasoning within models.
  • Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while enhancing AI model performance.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • 5+ years of experience practicing U.S. law, preferably in litigation or regulatory contexts.
  • J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate legal reasoning clearly in writing.
  • Familiarity with a broad range of U.S. legal domains (e.g., contracts, torts, constitutional law).

Compensation & Legal

  • Independent contractor classification.
  • Payments issued weekly via Stripe Connect.
