Position: Lawyer

Type: Independent Contractor

Compensation: $100–$200/hour

Location: US, UK, or Canada

Duration: 3–4 weeks

Commitment: 15+ hours/week

Role Responsibilities

Design questions related to the legal profession using your experience as a Lawyer.
Work independently and asynchronously to meet project deadlines.
Ensure the quality and relevance of legal content for AI model training.
Collaborate with AI research teams to improve training data quality.
Adapt to flexible hours while maintaining high standards of work.

Qualifications

Must-Have

4+ years full-time work experience as a Lawyer.
Be based in the US, UK, or Canada.
Access to a desktop or laptop computer (no Chromebooks).

Compensation & Legal

At-will contractor to Mercor.
Paid weekly via Stripe Connect.
Industry-standard compensation expectations met.
Cannot support H1-B or STEM OPT status candidates.
