Position: Legal Content Developer

Type: Part-time, project-based

Compensation: $110–$140/hour

Location: Remote

Duration: 4–6 weeks

Commitment: ~15 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

  • Draft structured legal content related to special needs trusts, guardianship, and disability benefits.
  • Ensure accuracy in areas such as ABLE accounts, Medicaid eligibility, and SSI processes.
  • Translate complex legal frameworks into clear, standardized documentation.
  • Verify all explanations against public, authoritative sources.
  • Collaborate asynchronously with the project manager to ensure content alignment and quality.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • 8+ years of experience as a practicing attorney, legal scholar, or advanced paralegal.
  • Deep knowledge of special needs law, guardianship, and trust structures.
  • Strong understanding of Medicaid application workflows and SSI requirements.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex legal topics clearly.
  • High attention to detail and reliability in meeting deadlines.
