Base Salary $46,446 ( The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. If the candidate selected is eligible for a years-of-service pay differential, it will be added to the total compensation. A pay differential does not raise the base pay.)

Job Location: Division of Professional Registration, Missouri Board of Registration for the Healing Arts, 3605 Missouri Boulevard, Jefferson City, Missouri 65109. This is an in-office position.

  • Answer telephone calls and emails for the board’s legal section.
  • Prepare certified copies of board documents in accordance with sunshine law.
  • Prepare orders, settlement agreements and other legal documents.
  • Responsible for board and commission directives.
  • Complete data entry into the licensure system.
  • Assist legal counsels in research, preparation and presentation of documents.
  • Attends all board and commission meetings.

What We Are Looking For

Minimum Qualifications

  • An Associate degree in paralegal studies or closely related field; one-three years of experience in a legal environment preferably in reviewing official documents such as claims, applications, or legal documentation; and a paralegal certification; OR five or more years of experience in a legal environment.
  • Earned credit hours from an accredited college or university in the areas of business or public administration may substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.
  • Knowledge of computer applications such as Adobe Acrobat Pro, Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
