Position Summary The Real Estate Paralegal plays a key role in supporting legal and real estate functions across a national retail portfolio of approximately 2,000 locations. This role is responsible for assisting with lease documentation, legal review processes, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations throughout the real estate lifecycle. The Real Estate Paralegal partners closely with Legal, Lease Administration, Deal Making, and cross-functional teams to support lease execution, renewals, amendments, and ongoing portfolio management. Key Responsibilities Lease & Legal Document Support • Draft, review, and manage lease agreements, amendments, estoppels, SNDAs, and related legal documents. • Coordinate execution of lease documents and ensure proper documentation and filing. • Maintain lease document templates and ensure consistency across agreements. • Track and manage legal documentation workflows and approvals. Transaction & Deal Support • Support Deal Making and Legal teams during lease negotiations and transaction processes. • Assist in reviewing letters of intent (LOIs) and deal summaries. • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate timely deal execution. Lease Administration & Compliance • Ensure lease compliance by monitoring contractual obligations and key terms. • Partner with Lease Administration to resolve discrepancies in lease documents and abstracts. • Assist with lease audits, document retrieval, and due diligence efforts.

Cross-Functional Real Estate Support • Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Facilities, Construction, and Lease Administration teams. • Support data management and documentation needs across the real estate lifecycle. • Ensure alignment and accuracy of lease-related information across multiple systems. Qualifications Education & Experience • Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal certification required. • 1+ years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in commercial real estate or retail environments. • Experience supporting multi-unit or national retail portfolios preferred. Technical Skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel. • Experience with lease administration systems (e.g., Lucernex, CoStar, MRI, or similar). • Familiarity with legal document management systems.
