WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH The Counsel, Technology role is part of the Technology team within Bain’s Legal group, supporting the review, drafting, and negotiation of a range of technology-related contracts and advising on the use of AI. Bain’s Legal team is a group of experienced lawyers across the globe who work closely together to support the firm, maintaining the highest possible client-service standards with internal clients. This role advises on AI, licensing, hosting, software development, data usage, and digital product matters, playing a key role in legal services and risk management for Bain’s digital product development teams.
WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM The Counsel, Technology role reports to the Assistant General Counsel and is part of the Technology team within Bain’s Legal group. This role supports Bain’s global operations by advising on technology-related legal matters, AI initiatives, digital product development, strategic partnerships, and technology contracting activities. The role is based in either the Boston or Dallas office.

U.S. COMPENSATION INFORMATION Compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, 401(k) plan with an annual employer contribution based on years of service and Bain’s best in class benefits package (details listed below). Some local governments in the United States require a good-faith, reasonable salary range to be included in job postings for open roles. The estimated annualized salary for this role is as follows:
• Plus annual discretionary performance bonus • In additional, this role may also be eligible for other elements of discretionary compensation • 4.5% 401(k) company contribution, which increases after 3 years of service and is 100% vested upon start date
