About The Job

The YouTube Core Product Legal Team serves as the primary legal and regulatory partner for YouTube’s foundational product surfaces and platform capabilities. We advise on the core features that define how over two billion people discover, watch, and interact with video content every day—including YouTube Home, Search, Business generation, GenAI, Communities, over-the-top (OTT) and Commerce.

As Product Counsel for YouTube Core Product, you will act as a trusted legal advisor to product managers, software engineers, UX designers, and operational leads across YouTube’s core product surfaces. You will guide new feature launches from initial architectural concept through design, testing, and global rollout.

In this role, you will address legal issues spanning platform liability, digital accessibility, user privacy, content rights, consumer protection, and dynamic algorithmic transparency across global markets. You will be joining a tight knit group that works seamlessly alone together. You will be challenged to grow, think creatively.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
