Legal.io is working with a top tech company in San Francisco (unicorn status!) to hire a legal policy operations agent. 

The candidate will work on the company's Legal Policy team in San Francisco, the team is responsible for processing sensitive global legal requests, such as court orders or requests to remove content, from start to finish including document intake, logging, analysis, processing, and follow-up. This is a 12-month position, and the candidate will need to be on-site in San Francisco, CA.

Please note that complete fluency in English. It's a bonus if you also speak German, Spanish, French, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, or Urdu.

Job Responsibilities:

• handle global legal requests for content removal, helping to keep our legal process operations organized and on track
• be responsible for supporting your team in making sure requests are processed, tracked, and completed in an efficient and timely manner
• escalating unusual or sensitive requests to Legal Policy management, legal, or other stakeholders
• work closely with Legal Policy team members in San Francisco, Ireland, and Singapore on prioritizing requests appropriately
• serve on an on-call rotation, working closely with other team members to provide timely responses to emergency requests from all over the world

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education/experience
• English Fluency
• Experience with high-volume legal document intake and processing, with the ability to spot anomalies or unusual patterns
• Strong project management skills, excellent business judgment and highly detail-oriented. 
• Ability to work Monday-Friday and/or weekend coverage (Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday schedule)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bonus (but not required) if you speak: German, Spanish, French, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, or Urdu.
• 1 - 3 years of experience as a paralegal or at a tech company in a similar role

Role Details: 

• Anticipated Start Date: Immediately
• Schedule: 40 hours per week for 12 months
• Pay Rate: $30 - $35 per hour
• Location: San Francisco, CA - must work onsite
