Position Summary:
Provides comprehensive paralegal support to the contracts group. Manages multiple projects within required timelines. Reviews, revises and drafts a broad range of contracts and interprets contract provisions. Conducts research, prepares memoranda and other documents under limited supervision of an attorney. Typical agreements include consultant agreements, vendor agreements, confidentiality disclosure agreements, material transfer agreement, SOWs, amendments, clinical trial agreements.
Primary Responsibilities:
Education/Experience/Skills:
Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 8 years’ paralegal experience. Equivalent combination of relevant education and applicable job experience may be considered. Certificate program in paralegal studies desirable. Thorough knowledge of legal principles and practice, legal research techniques and legal and contract terminology preferred. Specific experience in contract review and administration is required.

A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of contracts and contracts administration. Resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways and in accordance with established policies and procedures. Demonstrates good judgment and believes in strong teamwork. Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, and general instructions on new assignments when needed.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, see, talk or hear in a standard office environment. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
