At Bitly, we believe in the power of the link - to start a conversation, build a relationship or grow a business. Our mission is to turn every link into a catalyst for connections. It’s what motivates us to help people share, promote and engage everywhere on the Internet. We do this by being relentlessly product-focused, fostering the free-flowing exchange of ideas, and inspiring people around the world to dream up new ways of using Bitly.
The Role
At Bitly, the legal team touches every part of the company. We negotiate the company’s sales and procurement contracts, oversee regulatory compliance, protect its values, and work with the finance, people, engineering, marketing, and product teams to enable business goals and manage risk.
As a paralegal, you'll work hand in hand with our sales team to close deals, assist with corporate governance, and help to manage our IP portfolio. You’ll make sure our trains run on schedule and balls don’t get dropped, and help us find new and innovative ways to keep our team efficient and effective as the company grows.
Our team is small, so the job is fast-paced and interdisciplinary. You’ll constantly be learning and will quickly become conversant in tech, policy, and finance, as well as areas of the law you never knew existed.
Location
This role will be fully remote for the duration of the pandemic, live in a state where we currently have a Tax Identity. Bitly is committed to not asking any employee to come back to the office through September 2021. We take the health and safety of our employees seriously and will continue to assess when offices can be reopened.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

If based in Colorado, the annual cash compensation range for this position is $81,000 - $93,000. Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills and may vary from the range listed above.
In keeping with our beliefs and goals, no employee or applicant will face discrimination or harassment based on: race, color, ancestry, national origin, religion, age, gender, marital domestic partner status, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability status, or veteran status. Above and beyond discrimination/harassment based on “protected categories,” Bitly also strives to prevent other, subtler forms of inappropriate behavior (e.g., stereotyping) from ever gaining a foothold in our office. Whether blatant or hidden, barriers to success have no place at Bitly
