Key Role:
Lead, oversee, and manage litigation and various crisis management matters for the company in conjunction with the Chief Counsel and other company leaders and stakeholders. Manage the transformation of the corporate records program in partnership with other corporate leaders. Handle other duties, as assigned by the Deputy General Counsels, Chief Counsel and the Chief Legal Officer. Collaborate with other internal teams to proactively identify risk areas and participate in developing training and policy or process enhancements. Leverage expertise in managing complex civil or white-collar litigation, and providing counsel on Procurement Integrity Act and False Claims Act issues and other laws affecting government contractors, including those related to contractor integrity, data breaches, data protection, and overall integrity and business ethics. This position is open to temporary remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.
Basic Qualifications:
- 12+ years of experience with practicing law in commercial and government business, including in a professional services firm
- 6+ years of experience with litigation and crisis management
- Experience with government contracting, including in a professional services firm
- Experience with managing attorneys, paralegals and other professionals
- Ability to cultivate deep relationships with compliance, legal, and business
- Ability to facilitate interaction with representatives across the organization, including executives, leaders across the enterprise, the Legal and Ethics & Compliance Department and other infrastructure colleagues, staff, and external organizations and agencies as well as interested government authorities
- Ability to lead multiple priorities, projects, and team members and adapt to changing business needs
- Ability to present complex issues and concepts to audiences of varying expertise in the subject matter both verbally and in writing
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- JD degree, including active bar admission
