The Opportunity

Government Affairs works to establish Marvell as a leading, respected voice with government officials to effectively position the company for future growth. The department interacts at state, federal, and global levels to better understand political, economic, and national security trends, minimize risk for the company, and effectively advocate the company’s interests.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the government affairs function to establish Marvell as a leading, respected voice with government officials.
  • Translate complex technology challenges into actionable solutions for government actors.
  • Monitor regulations, legislation, negotiations and relevant reports that are impactful to the semiconductor industry.
  • Attend hearings, webinars, and events and summarize them into key policy takeaways.
  • Apprise appropriate stakeholders of newsworthy events and developments.
  • Coordinate and staff meetings with Congressional offices and key agencies in the Executive branch.

 

Requirements:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter who possesses the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Exceptional problem solving and strategic thinking skills; ability to add value through creative input and forward-thinking.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with exceptional organizational and planning skills.
