Base Salary Range (New York): $138K - $168K

X Corp. is looking for an experienced program management and compliance professional to be the Program Manager for the Compliance Function as the Company continues to build the App of Everything.  In addition to general PM duties for the team, you will help perform two critical functions for X: 

(a) Collaborate on the design and running of an effective regulatory horizon scanning function, helping X identify and 

prioritize global regulatory requirements and assist in the tracking of their implementation

(b) Help to maintain the day-to-day record keeping of regulatory compliance programs, such as EU DSA and UK 

OSA.

What You’ll Do

  • Responsible for strategic design, build and then day to day management of (a) X’s Horizon scanning function and (b) X’s record keeping framework, covering global regulatory compliance obligations, including EU & UK content compliance monitoring and management body reporting. 

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across Legal and Safety teams to identify thematic commonalities across different regulatory obligations.

  • Support the build and enhancement of our content compliance record keeping infrastructure and processes, utilizing a transparent systems approach to drive processes, tooling and documentation.

  • Develop and maintain governance documentation related to management body reporting and reviews

  • Deliver training and communications for internal stakeholders regarding record keeping obligations and operational, business impacts associated with content compliance.

  • As a member of the X Compliance team, you'll also be responsible for continuing to develop the compliance culture and embed compliance initiatives as X grows.

  • Participate in other compliance work as necessary.

 

Who You Are:

We're looking for an accomplished program manager who is comfortable working in a fast-paced globally based cross functional environment with broad responsibilities.

The role will necessitate rapidly developing a deep understanding of X’s business and products. We are looking for someone who is collaborative, analytical, self-motivated, with a clear and effective communications style (both written and verbal).

 

Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 years experience total in, communications, compliance, information governance or other related fields with 2+ years focused experience in project and or process management.

  • Experience in a regulated environment is preferred.
    Familiarity with managing logistics across multiple teams in multiple countries.

  • Experience with design, development and maintenance of clear and auditable record keeping processes.

  • Demonstrated sound business judgment, with a constructive approach to issue resolution.

  • Unquestionable integrity. Demonstrates credibility and engenders trust by bringing objectivity to all situations.

  • Adaptability to drive process consistency even when working on sometimes ambiguous issues with multiple internal teams, to ensure outcomes are effective and impactful. 

  • Entrepreneurial mindset: flexible, self-starting and hard-working, proactively proposing new and innovative solutions as we continuously review and enhance content compliance.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple workflows and projects simultaneously.

  • Strong bias for action and execution.

  • Proven experience in collaborating and influencing colleagues to adopt improvements and make changes to the status quo.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

  • Understanding of online platforms and good knowledge of the relevant legislative landscape.
