Specialist, Legal Holds Team

What you will do . . .

As a Specialist for the Legal Holds Team, you will be responsible for assisting with legal document management and preservation compliance for reasonably anticipated and commenced U.S. legal matters. The role involves reviewing documents and information, utilizing technology to draft notifications, and following legal document workflows.

The Legal Holds Team ensures preservation compliance by instituting legal holds for the Walmart's reasonably anticipated and commenced U.S. litigation. To institute legal holds, the Team designs, implements, and advances preservation compliance strategies. These strategies involve using technology and partnering with relevant stakeholders to enhance preservation as changes occur to business operations, technology, and the law.

As Specialist on the Legal Holds Team, you are responsible for the following:

• organizing data from legal documents by entering data into various systems.
• preparing and sending correspondence.
• monitoring progress and results.
• growing knowledge of legal processes and best practices by learning the lifecycle of the legal process.
• building relationships and partnerships with team members and key stakeholders.
• recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities.
• adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.
• modeling compliance with company policies and procedures and company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
