We are actively seeking a Commercial Contracts Paralegal! This is a near-term hybrid opportunity with our Life Sciences client!

We are actively seeking commercial contract paralegals located in the Irvine, CA area with the following qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of paralegal experience, preferably in the healthcare or medical device industry.
  • Strong understanding of contract law, legal terminology, and principles of contract drafting and interpretation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with internal teams and external parties.
  • Proficiency in legal research and document management software.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all work activities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or related field.
  • Willingness to support a hybrid role requiring days onsite in Irvine, Califonia-based office.
  • Epiq Counsel partners with industry-leading clients in support of their sophisticated interim talent needs. Must be interested in practicing in an alternative, fixed-term legal services model.

Support our Life Science client on the following:

  • Review and draft contracts, agreements, and legal documents related to medical device procurement, distribution, and licensing.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards such as FDA regulations and ISO certifications.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including legal counsel, procurement, regulatory affairs, and quality assurance teams.
  • Conduct legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends impacting medical device contracts.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of contract activities, including tracking key dates, milestones, and obligations.
  • Provide support during contract disputes, resolutions, and litigation processes.
