As a junior advocate I am involved in cases that are related to Tenancy, Divorce (including domestic violence), Property disputes, Probate and Succession, Bail proceedings, Wrongful restraint and Assault cases, Writ Petitions, and my job profile includes the following responsibilities:-
1. Drafting Legal Notices, Contracts and Agreements (Tenancy, Distributor, Partnership, Joint Venture, Etc.), and drafting other legal documents.
2. Drafting plaints, petitions, written statements, appeals and other Court applications.
3. Legal Research and Case prep along with finding and summarizing legal judgements for Court use.
4. Appearing in court both independently and under the supervision of senior advocates.
5. Dealing with clients and preparing them for appearance in Court.

As a Legal Intern I fulfilled the following duties-

1. Proofread plaints, written statements, petitions, etc.
2. Monitored proceedings in Court.
3. Drafted legal notices, affidavits and other legal documents.
4. Summarized case files and mediation proceedings.
5. Attended court in all the ongoing legal matters and actively helped in case preparation.
6. Legal Research for all legal matters.

The types of cases that I was involved in are as follows-

1. Ejectment suits and tenancy disputes.
2. Divorce cases including Domestic Violence.
3. Title Suits and other property related disputes.
4. Mediation proceedings focusing on property disputes.
5. Cheque Bounce cases.
