Declining Big Law Demand: A Wells Fargo survey of 66 of the largest US law firms reveals that attorney billable hours have reached a 15-year low, leading to a squeeze on profits and potential layoffs. Despite a 1.5% drop in demand, the number of lawyers increased by nearly 5%.

Sheeran Wins Copyright Suit - The British singer won the suit brought against him by the estate of Marvin Gaye for alleged usage of four chords also used in "Let's Get It On". Sheeran says he was "...unbelievably frustrated that baseless claims like this are allowed to go to court at all".
