Arizona Water Company, a private utility serving customers throughout Arizona, is
seeking a part-time Paralegal. The position is located at its Phoenix corporate office.

Responsible for a variety of tasks and duties, which may include, but are not be limited
to, the following:

• Write and review contracts and related documents with third-parties, including

contractors, developers and vendors, with a primary focus of assisting the
company's engineering department.

• Assist in purchasing real property and manage and maintain real property and

real property rights.

• Conduct legal research.

• Assist in providing legal representation, guidance, and counsel to the company

for a broad array of matters, including contractual, real property, litigation, and
regulatory matters.

• Assist in preparing and reviewing governmental filings, such as licensing

applications and reports to regulators.

• Assist in filing and managing insurance claims.

• Assist in preparing legal documents for Arizona Corporation Commission and

court proceedings.

Required knowledge, skills and abilities:

Required skills include excellent writing, legal research, analytical and problem-solving
abilities. This person will report to the Vice President and Legal Counsel.

Education and Experience:

Paralegal certification or similar qualification and minimum five years legal experience
required. Utility experience a plus.
