About the Role
As the Marketing Operations Manager you will support the marketing team, and own an emerging marketing operations function for Boardable. Your mission is to enable and empower innovative marketing strategies that drive revenue and growth.
You will build and own all marketing automation, and work to drive improved pipeline visibility and revenue growth. You will work closely with Go-to-Market leadership to ensure key systems, tools, and processes work seamlessly and effectively to deliver the maximum ROI for all marketing investments. You will own the infrastructure that enables the marketing team and Boardable’s success. You’ll take a leading role in developing metrics, reporting, and meaningful analysis within the marketing team, creating visibility into marketing effectiveness and pipeline generation.
Ultimately, you’re a metrics- and KPI-focused marketer who is passionate about efficient and effective tech stack implementation. You’re an automation and tracking superstar, who has a deep understanding of analysis, and appreciation for data-driven decision-making.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Lead Boardable’s overall marketing operations program and strategy, supporting the execution of the marketing plan aligned with company objectives
- Manage, optimize, and scale the marketing (and revenue) technology stack to accelerate Boardable’s growth
- Serve as primary owner of our marketing automation platform, including system administration, project management, and all basic day-to-day functions
- Collaborate closely with Sales Ops on CRM projects, architecture, data flows, and processes
- Help define goals and KPIs for the marketing program with the Marketing leadership team
- Drive, build, and own a multi-faceted attribution model, clearly defining marketing’s impact on the growth of Boardable
- Play a key role in change management across the organization, particularly in the areas of revenue operations, data best practices, and technology adoption
- Track, measure, and analyze campaign performance to provide marketing program owners with the real-time insights to improve overall program effectiveness and increase marketing impact on revenue
- Build automated tools for demand generation, as needed
- Support the SDR team with targeted lists and reporting
- Develop and maintain a high quality database through data enrichment, lead scoring, and segmentation in partnership with Sales Ops and other data functions across the business
- Improve data integrity within our CRM through data import management, system integrations, data auditing, cleanup and deduping, and workflow management with focus on sustainable, scalable processes
- Drive, build, and own lead management and routing processes, including stakeholder alignment and management across revenue functions
- Develop and implement rapid A/B testing capabilities
- Manage email subscribers, minimizing email list decay and unsubscribes
- Support marketing leadership in budget management processes, tools, and analysis
- Manage weekly and monthly reporting and tracking, flagging issues for internal stakeholders and reporting appropriately
- Identify and deliver key projects across Go-to-Market organization including lead conversion effectiveness, lead privacy and compliance (e.g. GDPR), and customer-facing communications, as needed and directed
- Reports to the VP of Marketing
Experience/Education/Skills
- 3-6 years experience in B2B SaaS marketing operations -- substantial hands-on experience with multiple marketing automation tools (Marketo, Eloqua, Pardot, HubSpot)
- Deep CRM experience and knowledge required (HubSpot, Salesforce)
- Must have campaign and/or program management experience, both planning and execution
- Strong experience building and owning nurture campaign flows to drive pipeline
- Strong experience with data integrations and pipeline reporting
- Proven experience with complex lead management and lead scoring
- Proficiency in creation of emails, landing pages, and forms using HTML
- Exposure to Business Intelligence tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Domo, etc.)
- Working knowledge of SQL is a bonus
- MarTech nerd at heart with experience across a broad set of tools and systems in the ecosystem
- Highly resourceful, self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership
- Strong interpersonal skills with experience gaining cross-functional buy-in and alignment when implementing new programs, tools, and processes
- Self-motivated, organized, disciplined and able to work on your own and as part of a team
- Bias for action and alignment
- Detail-oriented with strong attention to follow-through
