The Opportunity

This position works out of our Abbott Park location in the OEC (Office of Ethics and Compliance).
 

As Sr. Compliance Specialist, you’ll have the chance to work in the Abbott’s Compliance Training team that is responsible for Abbott’s worldwide compliance training strategies, including managing its compliance learning training system (LERN). This position will work under supervision of, and report directly to, the Compliance Training Manager, interacting with Abbott personnel around the world at all levels.

What You’ll Work On

  • Support Abbott’s Office of Ethics and Compliance (OEC) compliance training strategy and global implementation.
  • Assist training manager with planning and implementation of LERN training campaigns and communications.
  • Deliver training as needed. Available for traveling as needed.
  • Proactively assesses and identifies potential workflow disruptions and leads troubleshooting and issue resolution activities.
  • Works in partnership with OEC Systems Team and third party course developers.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum undergraduate bachelor’s degree, preferably in fields relevant to training or legal compliance.
  • 3+ years of work experience, prior experience with training and/or compliance preferred.

  • Excellent time management, organization and communication skills, attentive to meet tight deadlines with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to make independent decisions aligned with department’s mission and vision.

The base pay for this position is $71,300.00 – $142,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
