Reporting to the Director of Corporate Compliance and Privacy, the Senior Corporate Compliance Specialist will develop and operationalize the global corporate compliance and privacy programs, be responsible for implementing and maintaining global compliance programs, and provide cross-functional support and guidance to the international commercial organization.  Global programs include but are not limited to the United States, United Kingdom, Europe, Japan, Saudi Arabia and Canada. #LI-IB1; #LI-Remote

 

Responsibilities:

  • Day to day global corporate compliance and privacy program operations, including but not limited to conflict-of-interest disclosures, employee corporate compliance training, healthcare exclusion report checks, records management, internal auditing, and monitoring programs
  • Collaborating across departments, to ensure compliance and continuously improve the quality of departmental policies and procedures
  • Identify internal requirements and external regulations and standards applicable to global corporate compliance and privacy programs
  • Assist with identifying areas of potential impact within HeartFlow and educate functional areas on corporate compliance and privacy program requirements
  • Review and update department records, policies and procedures
  • Participate across business units to streamline and standardize policies and procedures
  • Ensure effective implementation of mitigation plan(s)
  • Conduct internal and facilitate external assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of corporate compliance and privacy programs
  • Provide project management support for global compliance initiatives
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of an audit readiness plan and support mitigation of corporate compliance and privacy program risks
  • Promote corporate compliance and privacy training and awareness as needed through online and in person training programs

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare or related field preferred
  • Compliance certification (CHCO, CCEP) preferred or obtained within the first 12 months of employment
  • Minimum four years’ experience in healthcare or medical device compliance, ideally with a pre-IPO or publicly traded company
  • Strong knowledge of multiple global, federal, and state regulations and best practices
  • History of completing successful projects and driving positive compliance outcomes
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communicator
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple high risk priorities

This position has an estimated base salary of $130,000-$160,000, cash bonus and stock options. HeartFlow is a mature start-up, pre-ipo market place leader, changing the paradigm in Coronary Artery Disease Diagnostics.
