Company Description The Law Offices of John T. Orcutt is a North Carolina-based consumer bankruptcy law practice with 12 attorneys who work exclusively on consumer bankruptcy cases. With offices located in multiple cities across North Carolina, we offer free debt consultation to those experiencing debt-related problems. Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role, based in Wilson/Greenville, North Carolina with some remote work flexibility. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing legal advice and representation in matters related to bankruptcy. The role includes drafting legal documents, conducting research, responding to client inquiries, appearing in court, and communicating with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of bankruptcy law
• Ability to provide outstanding legal advice and representation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong research, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
• J.D. degree from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice law in the state of North Carolina
• Prior experience in consumer bankruptcy law practice is a plus
