Description We are seeking a talented Paralegal with 5+ years of litigation experience to join our dynamic team! The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing a diverse workload in a fast-paced environment. The paralegal/legal assistant will play a crucial role in supporting attorneys, maintaining case files, and ensuring the smooth flow of operations within the litigation team. Responsibilities Conduct initial intake process and work with clients to gather detailed case information. Perform case-related legal research. Act as liaison among all parties including courts and other neutral parties. Review, organize, and maintain case pleadings and indexes. Draft pleadings, subpoenas, discovery requests and responses, correspondence, interrogatories/answers, other legal documents. Coordinate the collection, review and production of documents and discovery requests. Assist in deposition preparation, pre-trial investigations, trial preparation, including assistance with preparation of witnesses for deposition and/or trial. Assist with trial preparation including preparation of exhibits, witness binders and other demonstrative evidence for use at trial and court hearings. Qualifications Associate's Degree or Certificate in Paralegal Studies (preferred) 5+ years of relevant experience as a paralegal or legal assistant with a focus on litigation Experience and knowledge of State and Federal court system and filings Proficient in Microsoft Office, document management and client management software systems ( eDiscovery, Relativity and LexisNexis) Excellent verbal & written communication skills Organized & detail-oriented Purpose Workforce is a full-service staffing and placement firm that believes in investing in the talent we hire.
