Magnify has an exciting new role for a Director of Legal Operations!

Do you pride yourself on your ability to provide direction, guidance, and leadership for a law firm? Do you have proven experience in Records Management, Client Intake, and Conflict Resolution? Would you be excited to explore a long-term opportunity to champion positive operational change, provide accurate reporting on the “Pulse of the Firm”, with a multispecialty mid-sized law firm? The Director of Operations will report directly to the President of the firm and work under the direction of the Board of Director. You will have responsibility of multiple departments including the Records & Conflict department and the Facilities & Office Services department.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in business operations or related field with five years of practical experience in operations; law firm experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Records management and retention requirements (including paper and electronic documents).
  • Knowledge of planning techniques (e.g., strategic, disaster and business process planning).
  • Proficiency in MS Office with advanced knowledge of Excel; MS Office 365 preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in budgeting and financial reporting.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with people in various positions within the firm and with external clients.
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strict adherence to confidentiality and ethical standards.
  • The ability to make well-informed, thoughtful, and timely decisions exhibiting sound and accurate judgment is critical for the successful candidate.
