Compliance Analyst - II

Summary:

Temporary position to assist with performing payment compliance analysis. We’re looking for a rockstar Payment Compliance Analyst to manage the compliance for our Payments product globally. You will work closely with Product, Risk, Legal and Operations teams to ensure we are complying with card scheme and payment network rules and requirements while keeping up to date with any changes and adhering to best practices in the Payments world.

Responsibilities:

  • Understanding payment network (e.g. Client, Client, Client, Client, NACHA, SEPA, BACS and alternative forms of payment) policies, rules and regulations, bulletins, assessment for potential violations and their associated impacts, translating them into understandable requirements.
  • Keeping abreast of compliance developments and evaluating the payment networks and scheme compliance regulations and industry compliance trends.
  • Socialize the compliance requirements which arise from networks, schemes, third-parties, including advising on any changes to our policies, procedures and controls to existing/new products while supporting their implementation.
  • Build monitors and early warning alerts for Network and Partner violations (prohibited and restricted items, CB & fraud, data integrity, sanctions)
  • Liaising with key internal (e.g. Legal, Risk, Product etc.) and external (e.g. schemes, vendors, partners etc.) stakeholders to enable product categories and address other initiatives as needed to adhere global and regional requirements.
  • Measure core metrics and goals that are set to prevent violations, business impacts and other key performance indicators that align with business.
  • Coordinate/organize/support working sessions, and weekly/monthly meetings, with strategic partners to share insights into current performance and align on upcoming opportunities.
  • Monitor and communicate Network and Partner violations (prohibited and restricted items, CB & fraud, data integrity, sanctions, etc.)

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering
  • 2+ years’ experience with an ecommerce merchant/marketplace specifically in Risk/Payments areas.
  • Deep knowledge of payment flows and money movement across credit card, alternate payments, bank transfers etc.,.
  • Experience in data analysis with high proficiency in SQL, Python; knowledge of Hadoop, analysis using Excel/Google sheets and visualization tools like Tableau etc.,. required.
  • Being a self-starter with the ability to work under pressure, juggle multiple requests simultaneously and tight deadlines.
  • Outstanding written, verbal, analytical, problem-solving, visualization and presentation skills.
  • Excellent relationship building, communication and good story-telling skills required.

Compensation:

The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
