About the Role

The Account Executive is responsible for new business sales of CounselLink ELM & CLM software to Corporate Legal and Legal Operations Departments. Our clients are primarily in the US, but also in Canada and the UK. You will achieve top-line sales and revenue within an assigned territory. You will also establish long-term relationships and offer innovative solutions to potential clients.


  • Developing and managing a territory plan to capitalize on prospect opportunities and grow the prospecting pipeline.
  • Developing and maintaining a territory plan to meet top-line sales and revenue goals.
  • Demonstrating and articulating the ROI of CounselLink products and services to prospects.
  • Creating targeted, solution-oriented proposals with appropriate positioning and pricing for software and services
  • Representing product portfolio through speaking engagements, industry events, and trade shows.
  • Maintaining awareness of market needs and industry trends to optimize market position.
  • Developing and tracking pipeline within an assigned territory utilizing CRM (


  • Possess significant expertise in enterprise-level sales.
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build lasting client connections.
  • Have a solid understanding of solution selling value proposition and be able to negotiate effectively.
  • Possess ELM and/or CLM sales and market cycle.
  • Be able to work unsupervised and manage time and territory effectively and possess exceptional organization and time management skills.
  • Be proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and CRM applications.
  • Be able to travel 30-50% of the time.
