Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 11 years of experience collaborating with executive stakeholders to create and align tools and technology solutions strategies.
  • 5 years of experience in people management.
  • Experience working within Government, Risk, and Compliance.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with both technical (Product and Engineering) and business stakeholders and users.
  • Ability to influence others, fostering and maintaining key relationships over time.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and work in a fast-changing environment.
  • Interest in security compliance frameworks, controls, and best practices.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.

 

About the job

As a Global Affairs Solutions Enablement Manager, you will report to the Head of Governance, Risk, and Compliance. You will be responsible for leading and managing a team that executes against this vision and strategy to deliver efficiency and scale across Global Affairs’ solutions and tools. You will navigate Global Affairs and cross-functional partners at Google to identify top business priorities, outcomes and pain points, translate them into business requirements, prioritize competing needs, align executive audiences to gain buy-in, and influence the solution and product roadmap to achieve the desired results.

In this role, you’ll balance Google’s legal and compliance requirements with our users’ needs, and our company’s values. You will be responsible for interfacing directly with risk and compliance teams, product, engineering, executives and other cross functional teams on a continuous basis and will allow you to shape the future of the Global Affairs ecosystem.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $151,000-$232,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
