Job Description

Margolis Bloom & D'Agostino, a leading trusts and estates firm, seeks an associate with 0-3 years of experience for our Wellesley office. Primary areas of focus will be probate and trust administration (contested and non-contested cases), adult guardianship and conservatorship court proceedings, and estate plan drafting.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, working with the partners to draft and file probate pleadings with the probate court, e-mail correspondence and phone communication with clients and opposing counsel on contested probate and trust matters, attendance at in-person and Zoom contested and non-contested hearings, preparation of estate tax returns and trust accountings, estate plan drafting and meeting with clients in person to oversee execution of estate plans.

The ideal candidate for this job is self-reliant, confident, resourceful, organized, possesses strong communication and writing skills, great attention to detail, and can work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Billable hour requirement is 1,400 hours. Starting salary is commensurate with experience and ranges from $75,000 to $95,000, client origination compensation, full benefits package, and remote and in-office hours are offered.
