An incredible opportunity for an Associate Attorney to join a top Am100 Restructuring practice, where they will: provide strategic legal counsel on the full range of bankruptcy and financial matters, including a wide range of in-court and out-of-court restructurings. Draft legal documents related to critical client matters based upon analyses of applicable laws and regulations Develop legal opinions and negotiate contracts, letters, and other agreements related to corporate restructuring Represent clients, including corporate debtors, secured and unsecured creditors, and other interested parties, in connection with Chapter 11 cases.

Position requires:

• 6 months of corporate debt restructuring and bankruptcy matters on the creditor side.
• 6 months of experience with issues specific to in-court restructurings, including DIP financing, 363 sale, and bankruptcy plan solicitation
• 6 months of experience with preparing initial drafts of correspondence and pleadings for restructuring or bankruptcy situations, including termination notice, proof of claim, and DIP financing or cash collateral motion
• 6 months of experience with researching public records, analyzing and summarizing information, and communicating with syndicated lender group.
• Must be admitted to practice law in the state of New York, or eligible to apply for admission within one year of hiring

Part-time telecommuting may be permitted.

Salary: $260,000.00 - $435,000.00 per year.
