Our client, a mid-sized firm with a nationally recognized banking practice, is seeking a Lending Associate with 5 or more years of demonstrable experience in secured and unsecured lending, letter-of-credit and other transactions for financial institutions. This is an opportunity to build a foundational base and subject matter expertise that the firm will reward with advancement in this expanding and well run practice group.

Responsibilities include: · Drafting, negotiating, and closing domestic and international financing transactions. · Work closely with financial institutions on syndicated and bilateral , secured and unsecured financing transactions. · Communicate with partners and client representatives, the status and timelines for all lending transactions

Ideally, the Associate must have strong knowledge of the UCC and Bankruptcy Code. Experience in trade finance or fund finance (e.g., lending against capital commitments or subscriptions for capital) is a plus.

Compensation includes a salary range of $180K-205K plus bonus. Also included is a robust benefits package. The bonus is based upon group and individual performance targets as well as additional incentives.
