Summary:

The Senior Director of Procurement will lead the centralized procurement organization. This is a critical leadership position with a tremendous opportunity to contribute to ADT’s growth and transformation.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Responsibilities include developing the strategic vision and executing ADT-wide procurement strategies and processes, working closely with all business units and corporate functions. Additionally, this role is a key contributor in defining contracting policies and business processes in accordance with laws, regulations, policies, and ethical standards. The role will lead a team of procurement professionals that will execute the sourcing vision in alignment with the Company’s strategic priorities and business goals.
  • This role’s mandate includes continually balancing the quality and cost equation for products and services being procured, developing supplier relationships, managing supplier performance and legal/regulatory compliance, and negotiating appropriate and value-added contracts.
  • This role will also lead further digitization and automation of our procurement processes and tools. A key requirement is the ability to drive change across the organization in partnership with business leadership and strategic suppliers and provide the thought leadership to move ADT continually to adopting world-class procurement practices.

 

Education / Work Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferable in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or Logistics. MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 15-20 years of experience in sourcing and procurement in a technology environment, and at least 5 years in leadership roles.
  • Strong supplier management and negotiation experience.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of legal contracts.
  • Experience driving cost, quality, and delivery improvements.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive digital transformation efforts.
  • Significant procurement budget and vendor spend management experience.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, especially executive communication and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Strong people leader with ability to build, develop, and manage a team.
  • Good presence and ability to interface with executive leadership at suppliers as well as ADT.
  • Business acumen, finance and operations analytical skills, data-driven thinking.
