Job Title: Junior Associate Attorney - Renewable Energy

Our client is a distinguished renewable energy company with multiple offices along the Atlantic Coast.

Salary : $80k - $85K Location : Tallahassee, FL (on-site)

What you'll do : 1) Legal Counsel :

Provide expert legal advice and guidance in drafting and reviewing contracts within the renewable energy sector
Draft, review and negotiate a range of legal documents, including loan agreements, security documents and financing agreements

2) Regulatory Expertise :

Ensure compliance with all pertinent legal and regulatory requirements in the renewable energy industry
Stay abreast of changes in laws and regulations and provide strategic advice on compliance

3) Collaborative Approach :

Collaborate closely with internal legal teams and other departments, including finance, project development and engineering, to provide integrated legal solutions

About You :

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Admitted to the bar in Florida
At least 1 year of experience as an Attorney or Law Clerk
Experience within the renewable energy sector is a big plus
In-depth understanding of financing structures, tax equity and regulatory frameworks specific to renewable energy
Exceptional negotiation, communication and analytical skills
