Matura Farrington is currently working with a renowned national firm on their search for a Conflicts Analyst to join a tight knit team in their Governance department. The analyst will bring subject matter expertise to the Firm’s governance program, partnering with legal support, operations, and technology teams to ensure compliance with Firm policies and client outside counsel guidelines.

The firm is well known for promoting from within, offering a rich benefits package, and a congenial culture. Additionally, the position is fully remote & can be based out of their Downtown LA, DC, or San Francisco office! JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Act as subject matter expert on conflicts checks, new matter intake, ethical walls, records management, outside counsel guidelines, and audit letters
  • Conduct conflicts checks for new client/matters, pitches, prospective attorneys, and professionals
  • Prepare/analyze conflicts reports to identify potential conflicts issues
  • Communicate potential conflicts issues & assist with conflicts resolution
  • Document and maintain matter lifecycle data
  • Process new matter intakes and provide administrative support for the intake review process
  • Analyze and review engagement letters and conflict waivers; evaluate the need for ethical walls
  • Manage document systems; set up ethical walls; draft and circulate ethical screening memoranda
  • Process administrative records requests
  • Participate in risk and compliance initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, advanced degree a plus
  • 3+ years law firm conflicts, governance, or records experience

The salary range for this position is $66-86k annually depending on experience.
